5. An interim termination of your membership is not possible, unless:
a) You move to a location outside the radius of your present address from Existence.
You will be requested to show evidence of residence in your new commune.
b) You are not allowed for medical reasons to take part in fitness activities. You will be requested to show a certificate signed by your GP or specialist.
c) You become unemployed. You will be asked to show evidence of your inscription at the ‘ADEM / Arbeitsamt’ in Luxembourg.
Only in these three cases and on production of the above mentioned documents, will a termination of your membership before the expiry date be considered. The one month deadline before the first day of the next month remains compulsory.
Membership Suspension
6. Holiday planning. For members with a 12or 24 month membership it is possible to ‘’Freeze’’ their membership. This can be for maximum 30 calendar days per year. For each period of at least 9 days non holiday, Existence will reimburse you 25€ on your next month domiciliation payment. Example: You take 21 days break is 2 x +9 days = next month -25€ and second month later -25€ membership payment. Left 9 days.
To get this reimbursement we need to have the “Freeze form “ completely filled in minimal 10 days before start Freeze period.
7. Membership may be suspended for a maximum period of 6 months in case you are not able for longer than one month to participate in fitness activities, due to disease, injury, surgery or pregnancy.
8. In order to benefit from this possibility of suspension, you are requested to fill out an ”interruption form” (which can be obtained at the reception). You will hand in this completed and signed form, at the reception together with medical certificate signed by your GP, specialist or midwife (gynecologist). Mentioning begin and end dates. Without a medical certificate, your request for membership suspension will not be considered. Existence’ s board will decide whether the suspension will be granted or not and fix the beginning and end dates of such suspension. Suspension cannot be granted retroactively.
9. The membership’s expiry date is extended and the payment obligation deferred according to the duration of the suspension, the maximum being 6 months.
